It has been more than a year since US president Joe Biden assumed office and it looks like americans are not surely happy with his presidency. According to the latest reuters opinion poll, US president Joe Biden’s approval rating has fallen to 36% this week and this stands lower than his predecessor Donald Trump.
The two day national poll found that 59% of Americans disapprove of Biden’s job performance. On the commons front as well Biden got the lowest job ratings for his handling of the economy as just 28% approved of his work in that area.

Biden’s approval rating has been below 50% since august 2021 and his latest approval rating of 36% fell 3% points from 39% a week earlier. His approval rate within his own party is 69% this week which is different from 79% which was recorded a week earlier.
The poll also revealed how a whopping 71% of respondents said that they would not like to see Biden run a second term. Mean while only 24% said they wanted a second Biden term in the white house. Biden’s approval ratings were also under water when respondents were asked about his handling of gun violence, foreign policy and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The only marginal right spot came on Biden’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic with 50% of respondents approved of the work he was doing and 43% disapproved.
